Dorothy Elizabeth De Losada papers, 1939-1964.

Consists of De Losada's high school essay (1939) on American organized labor; her college psychology paper (1956) about an ILWU steward's conception of self; a memorandum and questionnaire from the union's Fair Employment Practices Committee; ILWU printed material, including a bound volume of strike publicity for 1949; newspaper clippings (1931-1950); political buttons; and other miscellaneous items. Also includes correspondence of De Losada's husband, Horace "Ace" De Losada, who was business agent for Local 6. Correspondence includes letters to him from Wesley Robert Wells, a black prisoner, while Wells was on San Quentin's Death Row.
